Organ playing is the manifestation of a will, filled with the vision of eternity.
C. M. Widor
I am church organist and have been actively playing in churches in Canada, France and Switzerland, in both catholic and protestant churches: Dominican Convent (Strasbourg, France), Église protestante de Saint Mathieu (Strasbourg, France) Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church (Vancouver, Canada) and others.
Currently, I accompany liturgy and choirs in catholic churches in Pastoralraum am Rohrdorferberg and Lengnau.
I had and still have wonderful opportunities to be formed by great musicians: Marc d’Anjou, Damien Simon and currently Michael Bartek.
Beside interpretation of organ composition ranging from Renaissance to the contemporary music, I am highly interested in harmonisation and improvisation.
Some twenty years ago, I discovered the famous book Gödel, Escher, Bach: An eternal golden braid by Douglas Hofstadter. Since then, I am fascinated by the relation between the art and mathematics.
