The miracle of the appropriateness of the language of mathematics for the formulation of the laws of physics is a wonderful gift which we neither understand nor deserve.
E. Wigner
I am passionate about numerical simulations and modeling of physical systems.
I have published more than 50 papers in various areas of computer science and applied mathematics, notably in soft-tissue modeling, real-time physics-based simulations, medical image reconstruction and processing, augmented reality, data assimilation, and haptics.
In 2015, I obtained a tenured position at French national institute INRIA. In 2019, I accepted an offer at Varian, a company with a long history of innovations.
My further scientific interests include quantum computing, complex systems and consciousness.
